VOTE JOHN GOMES FOR MAYOR-FEB 27
We won our case in Court proving Absentee Ballot fraud.
Vote John Gomes for Mayor on Tuesday, February 27th on
Row C to become your next Mayor of the City of Bridgeport.
John Gomes grew up in Bridgeport after immigrating from the Cape Verde Islands at the age of nine years old. He achieved numerous educational and professional milestones while remaining true to the community that welcomed him as a child. John began public service work in 2008 fighting for Bridgeport. With deep roots in our community, he is ready to lead our city forward and unafraid to do what is right for all.
Not only does John Gomes have a wealth of education, knowledge and experience, but he speaks five (5) languages fluently. John brings a cultural awareness to the community that no other candidate in the entire history of public governance in Bridgeport has ever done.
The majority of our community does not feel they can be a part of the solution. I’m telling you today that together we can.
Bridgeport has been my home for more than 40 years. It’s where I grew into the man, father, and grandfather that I am today. I can remember a time when our city was thriving and more connected. We had energy and growth in our community which we lost because poor leadership has ignored us and has not stepped up to make a better Bridgeport for us all.
Our Campaign Videos
Together, we will re-energize those that have given up and motivate the voices of those that have gone unheard for too long.
Our Top Proposals
Our policy platform is designed to serve Bridgeport by creating an equitable representation. Under my leadership, we will generate strong partnerships to create accountability and growth in the largest city in Connecticut.
"The residents of Bridgeport, have watched the corrosion of the city and the lack of the vision and ingenuity needed to take the City of Bridgeport to the next level like that of its neighboring cities and towns. It takes more than paved streets and more housing units beyond the reach of those who can't afford it to grow and stabilize Bridgeport; it takes attracting investors and corporations that see Bridgeport for what it can be with the right leadership."
